Food Truck Festival in Downtown Anoka

Thousands Flock Downtown for Food, Music and Fun

ree

Saturday afternoon, thousands visited downtown Anoka for food, music and fun. Second Avenue North was packed with two blocks of food truck vendors, lawn games, live music at the dam. Event goers even boated down the Rum River from points north to visit the festival.

Managed by the Minnesota Food Truck Festival, the event this is the 7th season in Downtown Anoka. Paired with a mostly sunny day, the festival and Anoka's new Social District, a policy that allows restaurant patrons to purchase adult beverages that can be consumed outdoors within the City of Anoka's entertainment district and along the Rum River, much fun was had.

Despite a brief sun-shower, festival goers refuse to give up their places in line at the Rebel Lobster Food Truck (FB, Instagram, X, Web).

The family friendly event is not just good for the vendors and event organizer, but for bars and restaurants in the immediate area. If you missed it, you're in luck. The event goes until 9:00 PM, and you can follow the event on social media (FaceBook, X, Instagram, TikTok, Web) If you're not going to make it, there's always next year!
